Commemorating the 60th anniversary of the
Hungarian Revolution of 1956, the Embassy of
Hungary donated this plaque to pay tribute to
the Hungarians who fought against the
communist terror.
Hungary is grateful to Canada for receiving large
numbers of Hungarians and providing them with
the freedom they yearned for.
